Microsoft has turned their marketing strategy this time. Microsoft offered people to celebrate the Windows 7 Launch Day and in return Microsoft provided them with a “Special Signature Edition of Windows 7 Ultimate” to the all the party host which is signed by Steve Ballmer. As Microsoft as expecting this attracted a lot of crowd towards the program and thousands of entries were enrolled. Microsoft marketing and house Party team short listed the host and luckily we were the one to be in.
Here are few pictures of the kit which arrived in yesterday noon. The kit contains:
- Ten Tote Bags.
- Two Windows 7 Ultimate Signature Edition (32-bit & 64-bit) with one genuine license.
- A puzzle.
- Bunch of Napkins.
- A huge poster.
- A hanging banner.
- 2 Papers with party idea’s and instructions.






Windows 7 is no doubt, a true winner. We have been using RC edition for months now and it just make us felt “This is My PC”. Almost all of our old software’s ran without any glitches. Stunning graphics, ubercool features, and the most important thing “Stability” is what we have found in Windows 7.

Windows Vista has a default setting of showing the Sleep Button at Start Menu instead of the Shutdown Button which was seen in old versions of Windows like Windows Xp. Whenever a person is introduced to the Windows Vista for the first time, he usually confuses the Sleep Button with the Shutdown Button. However being deep inside control panel, but this setting can be customized in Windows Vista.

Over the past two months Firefox had been troubling me (and some other users too). While playing YouTube Videos I could see the motion but cannot hear the sound. Frustratingly, I had to open each video in Google Chrome. I checked out lots of forums over the net to find a solution but nothing worked. Some advised to upgrade the flash version while others suggested downgrading but result was nil.

Microsoft had announced the new version of Windows Family at the PDC (Professional Developer Conference 2008) event just a few days ago. Windows 7 or the upgraded version of Windows Vista was in development from long time and Microsoft already distributed the alpha version of Windows 7 to the developers inside a free 160 GB USB hard disk at the event.
