T-Mobile – A giant U.S. mobile operator produced almost a real world clone of the best mobile game of the year – Angry Birds, for their commercial which is being aired on most television channels. The video has already gone viral over the Internet and Youtube.

The birds were created as soft toys which were shot away on the plastic boards which resembled the protecting home for the pigs. The targeting and shooting of birds were controlled with a special mechanism built by T-Mobile team for this commercial was being controlled from a mobile phone making the game actually work in real world. Some lucky people got a chance to play the real world angry birds game and you can see their excitement in the video! We don’t have more words for this, have a look at the video which is self-explanatory!

For the very first time, researchers at the university of Hertfordshire have started working on a robot which will help children facing Autism, enhance their communication skills and will teach them how to interact publicly. This work forms a part of their project which includes inquiring about how teaching through robots can become a helping tool in dealing with autistic children.

Autism is a neuro-developmental disorder which is characterized by improper functioning of brain because of which the autistic children lack the ability to sense anything and to react according to the situation. To deal with such cases, researchers have come up with an approach in which they will work on a robot named Kaspar, a humanoid robot brought up by the Adaptive System Research group at the University.

The robot’s body is to be covered with an artificial skin to which tactile sensors will be fixed. These tactile sensors have an ability to sense and analyze the intensity of touch. Since, touch forms a primary and necessary part of communication, with the help of these tactile sensors, accompanied by some newly developed sensor technologies, the physical behavior of the children can be analyzed and they can be taught in the same way.

The intervention of artificial-skinned robot, embedded with newer technologies and methodologies, when brought into being, is expected to procure the personal behavior of autistic children including their basic communication and interaction skills.

Well this Christmas brought a Tsunami of endless joy shouts on some gaming fan kids when their parents surprised them with the brand new gaming consoles.

I think the video’s will speak better than my words, so here are the kids roaring out with excitement (and I really mean it, they are simply roaring more than lion). Here is a kid going bonkers on receiving the Nintendo N64.

You saw the roars of the American kid but just have look at this Canadian kid, he could not simply believe that he is actually seeing his own Nintendo Wii. Simply have a look at his face when his family was opening the gift. His face reveals the “OMG – Oh My God” expressions and his endless joy.

It brought my childhood memory back, the day I got a classic “Cassette Video Game” of Sony. Those moments were simply amazing, but thank god no one captured me when I was shouting. ;) [Thanks David]

Keep your kids safe online while providing them the power of Internet. Checkout the browsers specially designed for your kids.

Internet have been nice medium to gain knowledge, keep in touch with friends, entertainment, etc but it is also polluted with bad guys and other abusive content. You want your kids to be smart and can grow while gaining information about the technologies so that when they mature up, they are ready for the real competitive world. But the problem is you don’t want to expose off your kids to the bad part of internet. Then how would you go for this?

Well you can go for the special browsers or modify the current one’s to protect your kid. These browsers will basically teach your kid while keeping them off the unwanted content of the Internet. These browser makers handpick the content and websites which are suitable for your kids.

KidZui:

A Firefox add-on which completely modifies the interface of the browser and it is optimized for safe browsing for kids. It provides the completely hand picked content which is suitable for your kid to browse around. It has hundreds of kid-friendly websites, video’s, pictures and more ready for your kid to explore.

It also sport some smart abilities, when enabled it doesn’t allow the kid to close the browser or even block them from opening other applications. Thus it will also save you from your kids deleting an important file on your PC. As it is built on Mozilla’s engine, it makes KidZui stand out from other kid browsers and providing safe content to your kids.

Kidoz:

Kidoz Browser is a very friendly kid browser. It also features the hand picked content for your kid and has very clean environment which is designed in such a way that kids feel very comfortable browsing on it. Kidoz Browser requires Adobe Air to be installed and runs on it and is available for free.

BuddyBrowser:

BuddyBrowser has many unique features which others don’t have. It supports Games, Movies, Music, Tv and a whole lot of safe stuff. BuddyBrowser provides educational information channels and it also sports safe messenger for kids. BuddyBrowser also has tied up with SafeSurf to filter the content for kids.

Kidrocket:

This browser is another one in the race. The plus point in this browser is it allows kids to send and receive emails. It is a single EXE program which creates a folder where the exe is placed whenever the exe is run.

These browsers will surely keep your kids safe over the internet but they do have some limitations. You cannot add site to the lists they can visit. Concluding, we recommend using KidZui over others as it has a strong base beneath and has also got smart capabilities.

Many times you might have a faced a situation when by mistake you leave your car keys inside and lock the door with keys inside. Now the situation will get even worse if there is no mechanic’s shop nearby who can open your door. But you may be lucky if your car is equipped with “Central Locking” and it just takes few seconds to unlock your car. All you need is two mobile phones, a spare “Central Locking Remote” at your home and a person at home to help you out.

Now Suppose that you have left the key inside your car. Here is the small procedure to get the job done:

Call some at your home and tell him to find the spare (duplicate) remote of the “Central Locking System” of your car.

Tell him to hold the remote close to his mobile phone and keep pressing the unlock key, while the call is still on.

Now hold your mobile phone near the door (near driving seat). That’s it, the car is unlocked!

Isn’t that really simple? Well the credit for this post goes to many sources on web. I have read this trick on various number of forums previously but thought that this is just a fake thing floating on net. I have tried this trick on my car and yes it worked perfectly for me. Though it depends on the Central Locking System of your car so don’t take it for sure but it can be helpful in bad times.

Share in comments, did it worked for you?
